those who are new to the field, particularly students, are very welcome.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Mons, Belgium
We are very sorry to let you know that we have to cancel the physical meeting at HistoCrypt 2020 in June in Budapest given the
difficult situation caused by Covid-19. The conference cannot be organized during the upcoming weeks for practical reasons.
At present, borders of Hungary are closed for foreigners, international meetings are not authorized either at higher
educations. Although we hope that the situation will improve by June, there is no guarantee – according to the latest
simulations, Coronavirus infection will reach its peak in Hungary in June. We strongly believe that the only responsible
action now is to cancel the event as a physical meeting. However, we decided to publish the proceedings with all accepted papers as planned so all
the hard work of the authors and reviewers won’t be wasted. We will keep you informed.
And we all look forward to HistoCrypt in 2021 somewhere in Europe, to be announced sooner (or later) at histocrypt.org.
The International Conference on Historical Cryptology (HistoCrypt 2022) invites submissions
of papers to its annual conference on historical cryptology. The conference will be held in June 20-22,
2022 at Trippenhuis, the Headquarter of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
In addition to the contributions of 2022, the already accepted presentations of 2021 and possibly 2020 will
also be included in the programme.
